Mountains in the winter months are a stunning place to be.

Skiing gives the ability to move around quickly and safely in the environment, and gain access to otherwise impenetrable areas.

This is a small series of shots taken last year, while on assignment at Sol Mountain Lodge, in the heart of the Monashee National park, in British Columbia, Canada.

Unfortunately we had terrible visibility and light, but on the other hand, great snow.
