NEW! Urban kayaking

After 4 years of thinking about it, I finally managed to get together the a couple of kayakers on a day when Akerelva river in Oslo city centre was in flood.

I saw a couple of the falls on the river when I first came to Oslo on a study trip in 2003, and thought there were definitely some interesting shots to be had.

The river flows from Maridalsvannet lake (the drinking water supply of Oslo), down through the centre of Oslo, where it finally comes out in Oslo Fjord.
